Nordic Center, McCoy Park & Ski Racing
The Nordic Sports Center, located at the bottom of Chair 12 in the Strawberry Park Condo Building, offers a complete rental shop and is an official center for Fisher cross-country skis, Atlas snowshoes and The Tele Tech Center. From the Nordic Sports Center, guests are encouraged to explore McCoy Park at the top of the Strawberry Park Express lift. McCoy Park is a private playground for snowshoers and cross country skiers with 30+ kilometers of groomed and rustic trails crossing pine forests; aspen groves and open glades; and views of three mountain ranges... it is, quite simply, magnificent. Race World
Located under the Centennial Express Chair Lift, offers Nastar racing daily from 11.00am until 3.30pm. The course is a giant slalom format - the national handicap system is applied and each racer receives a medal. Coaching Clinics and Private Races are available.
Beaver Creek Ski & Snowboarding
Beaver Creek, Colorado Ski Mountain is one of the largest and most diverse ski areas in Colorado with a 4,040-foot vertical drop, 146 trails (seven specifically contoured for snowboarders), six high-speed quads, three triples, four doubles, one surface lift, three snowboard parks.
With significant on-mountain and base-area developments over the last several years, Beaver Creek has turned to tweaking the terrain, primarily by glading 100 acres in the Beaver Creek-to-Bachelor Gulch area. "Mystic Isles" is a new entry-level terrain suitable for children and new riders, and the resort also boasts one new and one improved intermediate-level Terrain Park.
