Things to Do: Summer
Summer guests at Beaver Creek enjoy warm, dry, blue sky days (65-85 degrees), refreshingly cool nights, and plenty of Great Rocky Mountain adventure and fun! Beaver Creek features a year-round outdoor ice-skating rink in the heart of the Village, a Robert Trent Jones championship golf course, and the Vilas performing arts center.
Hot Air Ballooning
Soar into the skies above the Vail Valley on a pristine winter morning. Tours include transportation to and from your hotel, champagne, certificate and ceremony.
Fly-Fishing
Enjoy the gold medal waters of the Colorado Rockies. Vail Valley Golf
The Vail Valley is quickly becoming known as a top-notch destination for mountain golf. Players of all ability levels can find a course suited to their experience. From par 3 pitch-n-putts to championship courses designed by the masters, all of our courses feature breathtaking panoramic mountain views. Beaver Creek features a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Signature 18-hole course and there's half-a-dozen more courses in the area, including, Cordillera Golf Course, Cotton Ranch Golf Club, Eagle Ranch Golf Club, Eagle-Vail Golf Club, Red Sky Golf Club and the Sonnenalp Golf Club.
Hiking
Spend an hour or a day hiking along waterfalls, rivers, streams, packed trails or steep peaks. Whatever you choose there are plenty of wildflowers, panoramic mountain views and wildlife to enjoy. When hiking at high altitude it is very important to wear sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen, drink plenty of water, wear sturdy shoes and always have a light jacket on hand. Most important, don't forget your camera.
Horseback Riding
Experience the Rocky Mountains western style! Great for couples, singles, families, kids and groups. Ride through forests and open meadows, enjoy mountain streams and wildlife. One hour, two hour and half day rides with lunch as well as wagon rides, dinner rides and everything in between.

Jeep & Hummer Tours
Four-wheel drive jeep adventures provide yet another opportunity for our guests to enjoy the beautiful wilderness areas that surround Vail. Enjoy spectacular vistas spanning miles of the Colorado high country and observe some of the native wildlife that roams the area. Trips are offered on several trails in and around the Vail Valley including our most popular Castle Peak and Lake Creek Trails. All trails are available from May through October (weather permitting). The Castle Peak tour offers tremendous wildflower viewing, while the Lake Creek Trail combines a dense alpine forest setting with an area rich in local mining history.
Mountain Biking
Discover the thrill of mountain biking in Beaver Creek. Take your bike up the chairlift and cruise down a beginner, intermediate or expert trail. For the biker who prefers the road, take a challenging ride up Vail Pass and let the wind blow through your hair as you coast back down.
White Water Rafting
Whitewater rafting in Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado, is some of the best in the country. Enjoy a taste of the Colorado Plateau with a sun-drenched float through high desert canyons. Vail, Colorado whitewater rafting is at its best in the infamous Gore Canyon of the Colorado River.
Rodeo
Located behind Chapel Square in the town of Avon. Free shuttles available from the covered bridge in Beaver Creek Village. Enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo, shopping, and an authentic Western BBQ and Saloon. The Beaver Creek Rodeo offers fun and excitement for the entire family.
Chair Lift Rides
Ride the scenic Centennial lift to the top of the mountain. Take your bike or enjoy a BBQ cook out at the top!
Tennis
The Beaver Creek Tennis Center has five clay and two hard courts. You will enjoy playing at this top notch facility surrounded by incredible mountain views.

Childrens Museum at Beaver Creek Resort
The Children's Museum at Beaver Creek returns for another summer of excitement and educational fun!
For its seventh year, Blue Creek Productions will create an indoor museum-style children's activity center, focusing on fun,I nteractive, and educational exhibits for children and their parents to enjoy.

Nottingham Lake and Park
